FreeAudioEffects.com End-User License Agreement (EULA)
This End-User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“You”, “User”, or “Licensee”) and FreeAudioEffects.com (“We”, “Our”, or “Site”) concerning your use of the downloadable sound effects and audio files provided on the Site.
By downloading or using any audio files from FreeAudioEffects.com, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA and our Terms of Service. If you do not agree to this EULA or the Terms of Service, do not download, access, or use any content from the Site.
Grant of License
FreeAudioEffects.com grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to download and use the sound effects and audio files solely in accordance with the license terms stated for each download and subject to the following limitations:
Permitted Use: You may use the audio files for personal, educational, creative, or commercial projects, including video content, podcasts, films, multimedia presentations, social media, apps, and games, provided you comply with the specific license provided with the download.
Attribution: Some audio files may require attribution. If attribution is required, you must clearly credit the source as stated on the download page or in the license file.
Single User: This license is granted to one user only. Multi-user usage (e.g. corporate teams or production studios) requires individual licensing or written approval.
Prohibited Uses
You may not:
Resell, re-license, or redistribute the audio files as standalone downloads (whether for free or for a fee).
Upload the audio files to any sound effect library, AI dataset, content repository, app, or platform that allows third-party access, reproduction, or resale.
Claim authorship or copyright over the downloaded audio files.
Falsely imply endorsement or affiliation with FreeAudioEffects.com.
Use the Site or the audio files for any unlawful, harmful, hateful, harassing, or misleading purposes.
Provide downloadable access to audio files on your own website, app, YouTube channel, TikTok account, or any other social media platform, unless explicitly authorized.
Violation of any of these terms may result in immediate termination of your license and may subject you to civil or criminal liability.
Ownership and Intellectual Property
All content on FreeAudioEffects.com, including but not limited to sound effects, audio clips, branding, images, text, and design, is the intellectual property of the site owner or respective contributors. The license grants you the right to use, not ownership of the files. Unauthorized use or reproduction is strictly prohibited.
Attribution and Credit
Where required, attribution must be made in a clearly visible and legible manner in your project, such as in video descriptions, credit rolls, podcast notes, or website footers. The required credit format (if applicable) will be stated on the audio download page or inside a README file.
Liability Disclaimer
All audio files are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. FreeAudioEffects.com disclaims all liability for:
Errors, inaccuracies, or unintended consequences from using the audio.
Any damage or loss caused by misuse, re-editing, or remixing.
Harm from third-party misuse or malware after downloading.
You use all files at your own risk.
Termination
FreeAudioEffects.com reserves the right to revoke this license and restrict your access to the Site at any time if you violate the terms of this agreement or the Terms of Service.
Governing Law
This Agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the site owner resides. Any disputes will be resolved under local laws unless required otherwise by applicable international or consumer protection laws.
License Version at Time of Download
Any updates or changes to this End-User License Agreement (EULA) will apply only to downloads made after the effective date of such changes.
For all audio files downloaded prior to a revision of this Agreement, the terms and conditions in effect at the time of download shall continue to govern your use of those specific files.
FreeAudioEffects.com will not retroactively alter or revoke the rights granted under a license that was valid at the time of your download, provided you remain in compliance with that version of the Agreement.
